All I can say is WOW! What a difference an accessible, involved and proactive ownership makes. Sixteen months of lip service and lassitude relative to our complaints became a classic study in contrast when we made contact with the new owners of Encore - specifically, Stewart.
We had an ongoing problem with a neighbor who was renting a home managed by Encore. Our issues were met with rudeness and outright
falsehoods prior to September of this year (2019). We finally resorted to a Facebook posting expressing our disgust with their business practices.
Stuart (one of the new owners) reached out to us to gather information regarding our complaints. Distilled to its essence, problems addressed and solved to mutual satisfaction within 30 days.

My experience with Utopia Property Management in Redmond has been fantastic. The team is incredibly attentive and always quick to resolve any issues that arise. I am without words for the person who accused the property manager at Encore saying that they had personal property belonging to their Grandmother stolen by the property manager at Encore. I worked with the property manager at Encore, Shannon Smith, for many years back in the 90s. She is one of the most honest and outstanding person I ever had the privilege of working with. I am now a property manager myself and I know exactly the type of renter that would post something so horrible as to suggest they were robbed. It's not the kind of renter that anyone wants as a tenant. As far as the person who made that post, I hope to God you are a homeowner by now and not an ongoing nightmare for other property managers out there.

Miranda is amazing! I would recommend her over and over again. I’ve never met someone so invested in helping you find the rental home that suits all my families needs!! Miranda has went out of her way every time we needed her to come look at a house we had interest in. Every question we had she was quick to get us the answer and very helpful with anything we needed. I personally didn't have a single problem. Everyone was always very nice. From the getgo we needed a 6 month lease instead of month to month and they let us do it. Then after 6 months went to a full year lease which is what I wanted. They verbalized appreciation for maintaining the property and planting flowers. When something broke they were on it. My dishwasher broke and a new one was ordered same day and it was installed upon delivery. They let us know when maintenance was going to be done. We lived in our home comfortably and without issues for almost 3 years. I haven't heard back on deposit yet, but I surely do not expect it all back. Only good things to say.

The new owners of Encore Property Management truly care! It's hard reading some of these reviews... This is not an easy business to be in. As an owner of rental properties, I appreciate their communication, timely responses to my questions, and responsiveness to tenants when there is an issue. They have taken care of every maintenance issue and made sure the properties were in good shape. I still need to be involved and bring up issues when they arise, but they make renting out a property, finding tenants, and taking care of them a breeze. They have also made paperwork and payments much simpler, transitioning from the old owner's paper format to an electronic portal. Property Management is not easy... and there can be people who are angry or frustrated with the smallest things. The owners and staff currently at Encore are always respectful and willing to communicate. Thank you!

The heat went out during the last cold spell at the house I'm renting & I called into Utopia which has a maintenance department that helped me out almost immediately. I was updated as to which company would be coming out to help me get my heat back. Communication was great!! The issue was resolved before the end of the day and I was able to have a cozy nights sleep, thank you to Sara in the maintenance department who was so quick to respond to my request for help. In the past when I've rented from an owner directly I've had to find my own repair companies and the service has never been so quick.

Since management has changed hands we are very pleased with utopia management. The owners are very kind. I had an emergency plumbing issue last friday around 3pm and in no time maintenance arrived and fixed the issues and we were pleased. We have been renters for 4 years and so far so good 👍excellent communication with realtors and maintenance. I want to also include Jessica Ray for her outstanding communication skills work ethic and knowledge, she is absolutely 💯 magnificent! My husband and I own Hawaiian Sons Lawn Care. We are very grateful vendors for the Central Oregon Utopia Team but especially Jessica Rae. She goes above and beyond to communicate with us. She answers her phone more often than not and she returns calls promptly if she happens to miss our call. Even though she’s busy she always answers her phone and calls us with a chipper voice. Her kindness is way above what you would expect from a PM manager. She’s patient, kind, caring, smart, insightful, wise and she’s a great teacher as we get to know how things go working with Utopia.
Jessica is a voice behind a phone, words written on a screen behind emails; we haven’t met her in person but we talk to her more than we talk to our own bffs.

Edit to Update: Elise has been amazing to work with through roomate changes and continued repairs. They have taken ownership of the repairs the last property management company was not keeping up on and have really done their best to keep the property in good condition. I have never been this needy of a tenant and they really stepped up to the plate.
